Personal protective equipment was an infant industry in 1993, when a small company, QS Safety, was formed. Their goal? To produce seamless coated gloves, with enhanced coatings.
In 2005 QS Safety began to research a revolutionary substance with remarkable potential, a hexagonal compound made of carbon—graphene. Combined with other materials, graphene demonstrates unique properties—protecting from cold, heat, cuts, and bacteria. QS Safety learned how to embed graphene into a thread called Kyorene.
